Bone marrow transplant is considered by medical professionals to be potentially curative for Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) including relapsed or refractory AML. The SIERRA clinical trial seeks to determine the effectiveness of the investigational drug 131I apamistamab (Iomab-B), which may enable more bone marrow transplants for patients 55 years of age or older.
